Evgeny Svechnikov and Christian Djoos Power the Wings to Victory

The Detroit Red Wings broke through a couple of different walls they’ve had trouble with all season: Winning two in a row, beating the Blackhawks, and scoring a Power Play goal.

We also got to see Evgeny Svechnikov play in his first game this season. He scored his first goal and helped Nielsen look respectable, and provided a legit scoring threat beyond the first line.

And one week after discussing Christian Djoos on the power play, he finally puts one in and hopefully gets the Wings started on finding stability in regards to special teams.
