Mathias Brome & Red Wings Start Scrimmaging
Hi everybody and welcome to Episode 9 of Season 2 of Red Wings Rant hosted by the Brothers of Discussion and brought to you by the Hockey Podcast Network. Where tirades and impassioned pleas about your Detroit Red Wings, finally, have a home.
Let’s talk about World Juniors are over, USA triumphs and a couple of Red Wings walk away with some fantastic analytical output.
Red Wings Training Camp is underway and Mathias Brome, Bobby Ryan, and Vladislav Namestnikov shine pretty brightly.
And we’re going to wind the clock back one year to watch Filip Zadina score the game-winner against the Montreal Canadiens. This was the Red Wings’ 3rd of 4 wins against the Habs and this was Zadina’s opportunity to show the Habs what they’re missing.
We are also finishing our Rochester Mills 12 Days of Christmas sampling with the Red Velvet Milkshake Stoutt, ‘Paul Woods’ returns to play Who is That Pokemon, and play Be the GM.
ON THIS DAY
1-7-2020 Filip Zadina scores game-winner against Montreal to give Red Wings their 3rd straight win over the Habs and give Zadina a successful finish to his first shot at redemption.
Red Wings Scrimmages
There are some fun things to come out of the first scrimmage for the Detroit Red Wings. The first, as we discussed on the podcast, was this crazy new goal horn.
We also got a pretty nice pass from Bobby Ryan and an amazing reaction from Danny Dekeyser after finishing the play. Let’s just say, he might be thinking ‘Thank God I Finished That’.
That and so much, as discussed on today’s podcast.
