The Red Wings Return to Play

Hi everybody and welcome to Episode 3 of Season 2 of Red Wings Rant hosted by the Brothers of Discussion and brought to you by the Hockey Podcast Network.  Where tirades and impassioned pleas about your Detroit Red Wings, finally, have a home.

NHL is hockey is back! January 13th will be the big day for the puck drop and hockey fans are very excited! We get into the nitty-gritty of how this start date for the NHL is better than you think. We also discuss how this affects the Detroit Red Wings, especially from the European Player Loan Perspective.

We are also continuing our Rochester Mills 12 Days of Christmas sampling with the Gingerbread Cookie Milkshake Stout, preview this Sunday’s Be the GM, and ‘Paul Woods’ returns to play Who is That Pokémon.

The Brothers will be tasting the beers for a flavor match to the beer’s name, drinkability, the packaging, and provide an overall score (weighted by the drinkability).

Rochester Mills is a Michigan Brewery, famous in the state for its 12 Days of Christmas Box Set. Release on an annual basis, the brewery tinkers with the list of 12 beers, but always follows through with a smooth, milk-like base. Gingerbread Cookie

Jeff Blashill Player Comments

Blashill said the Wings plan on bringing back everyone loaned to Europe (a list that includes Filip Zadina and Filip Hronek) except in the Swedish Hockey League, which only accepted players made available for the entire season. That means Moritz Seider and Joe Veleno will not be available.
