Which match will we be talking about most on Monday?

With a decent card, for what is usually a throw-away Pay-Per-View, Hell in a Cell might prove to be one of the better (and shorter) shows this year. Photos courtesy of the WWE.

On the eve of Hell in a Cell, the Brothers of Discussion are curious what you think will be the stand-out match for the show. With some pretty decent booking mixed with juicy story telling, this should be a worthwhile show. Not to mention that with only eight matches, we might all be in bed at a decent hour.

The Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View has always been, at least in my opinion, a throw away Pay-Per-View. Stories come to this show to grow or evolve. You don’t often see a completed feud. Not that this is a terrible thing, but when you can see it coming, it takes the surprise away from most of the matches.

The glory of this year’s card is that there are so many matches and feuds that beg to not be completed. The stories are no where near finished and having them end on Sunday night, would almost be criminal. While I might not be able to sell everyone on continuing the New Day and Rusev Day feud, I’m sure most of you could get on board the continuation of the WWE Championship feud, the Universal Title, the Raw Tag Titles, the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and of course, Daniel Bryan and the Miz. With all of my hopes leaning towards shenanigans and hokey tactics, I feel like I’ll be happy no matter if the finish is clean or dirty.

That being said, there is one match in particular that I would like to stake my claim as the true owner of the water cooler, come Monday (as if wrestling has been discussed in a professional setting since the Rock left).

While I am excited for Becky & Charlotte, as well as Styles vs Joe, I have to go with the Raw Tag Title match between four guys who could easily run the main event scene right now. These guys are starving for a chance to own Monday Nights (if they aren’t already) and carry around that fire engine red, championship over their shoulder. I think the WWE is well aware of the opportunity that they have with McIntyre and Ziggler (I mean…they’re still on the Power Rankings this week) and they’ll be sure to give those guys enough time to shine in the ring.

Being that their opponents (more so Seth Rollins) have been the cream of the crop for the last 5 or 6 months on Raw, I just can’t figure any way that this match is a stinker.

The only thing holding this match back is the thought that these four guys will need to be ready to go at the end of the night. Meaning, they’re all going to be involved in the Universal Title match somehow. I can’t quite put my finger on it yet. Whether Mick Foley gets involved or Braun Strowman is given an opportunity to show off his brute force and tears the cell down. Regardless of the decision, all four members of the Raw Tag match will be serving double duty on Sunday and I’m sure precautions will be discussed, to ensure no one is injured by the end of the night.

Even with that heavy asterisk, I still can’t imagine that Rollins and Ambrose will be content with a five minute, "stay-safe” title match. These guys have proved for the last few months that they are 100% motivated by being the best on the roster and there is only one way for them to hold onto that moniker: 5-star matches!

Let us know what you think will be the best match of the night in the comments below and don’t forget to say hi on Facebook and Twitter!
